Network Web site provides a national clearinghouse for information dealing with the efforts of community groups and local and state governmental agencies to improve employment opportunities for individuals with criminal records.  In addition, it advocates for policy changes aimed at increasing the number and quality of jobs available to ex-offenders.

This site provides many helpful online manuals and other publications that will be helpful to reentry service providers and employers, including titles such as Getting to Work:  How TANF Can Support Ex-Offender Parents in the Transition to Self-Sufficiency and From Hard Time to Full Time:  Strategies to Help Move Ex-Offenders From Welfare to Work.  Interested people can sign up online for a free membership and will receive the H.I.R.E. Network News, which provides practical information about workforce development and criminal justice policy, relevant reports, and policy developments.
