The National Congress for Community Economic Development exists to serve the community-based development industry. The NCCED was founded in 1970 and represents over 3600 community development corporations in the US. In efforts to to support their mission, the website offers a great deal of information and resources for those in this field.

There are links to many organization websites, information on what CDCs are and how to start one, and even a section devoted to the faith-based community economic development initiative.
