A mentor can provide the support and accountability necessary to help a prisoner successfully transition back into society.  This manual provides Christian volunteers with the training they need to develop a positive relationship with prisoners during or following their incarceration.  In addition to providing the Scriptural reasons why it is important for Christians to be involved in this type of ministry, this guide provides practical information such as “Do’s and Don’ts” for mentors and mentees and activities for mentors to utilize with their mentees.  Also, it includes all of the forms and handouts needed to run a mentoring program.  An optional CD containing the needed forms and additional training and information is available as well.
