November 20 - December 20 is Survivors of Homicide Victims Awareness Month
Submitted by TechMission on Thu, 12/03/2009 - 16:03
While this observance may have started in Boston, the impacts of homicide and gun violence can be felt in communities all over the country and world. It's been said that "When a child dies from gun violence, that community has failed." What things can we do to curb violence in our communities? Mentoring? Serving in an after-school center? We'd love to hear your ideas!
