Is Internet Access a Human Right?
The BBC reports that 4 out of 5 people around the world think the Internet is a "fundamental right". What do you think: is universal access to Internet resource an issue of human rights, and if so, why?
Countries such as Finland and Estonia have already ruled that access is a human right for their citizens. The report is available at the BBC's website. The survey - of more than 27,000 adults across 26 countries - found strong support for Net access on both sides of the digital divide.
