How Hard Has the Recession Hit You?
Submitted by Chris Miller on Tue, 11/10/2009 - 10:08
The New York Times features an interactive graph that proves not everyone has felt the effects of job loss the same. The graph tracks how joblessness in the past 12 months has affected groups of people very differently based on race, gender, age and education. The data shows that white women ages 25-44 with a college degree have been affected the least by employment rates, while black men ages 15-24 without a high school degree have been hit the hardest. How has job loss affected you during these hard economic times?
