Tenure Track Faculty Position in Business-Finance

Tenure-track position in Business starting August 16, 2010.
Qualifications
Ph.D. preferred, with expertise in finance and accounting; teaching experience desired. Trinity seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning. Faculty members are also dedicated to personal involvement with students outside the classroom in advising, social interaction, and informal academic and cultural settings.
Responsibilities
A primary responsibility will be teaching upper-level concentration accounting and finance courses, which include Advanced Financial Accounting, Auditing, Individual and Corporate Taxes, Business Finance, and Financial Statement Analysis. Options may exist for other areas of expertise.
Compensation
Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension, life insurance, and disability insurance.

Trinity Christian College is a four-year liberal arts college located in Palos Heights, Illinois, a suburb twenty miles southwest of Chicago. Since its founding in 1959, Trinity has provided its students with an excellent Christian higher education in the Reformed tradition.
