Community Technology Center Assistant Director

Responsible to: CTC Director

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in life/ministry.
2. Willing to learn development and execution of programs targeted toward SGM goals.
3. At least two years of experience teaching technology to youth or adults.
4. Proven proficiency in basic Information Technology (IT) related tasks by certification, degree or experience. (ie. MCP, MCSE, CCNA, MCTIP)
5. Proven proficiency in Information Worker tasks, by certification or experience. (ie, MOS)
6. Willing to develop basic to advanced levels of technology training.
7. Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.
8. Evident enjoyment and love of urban children and youth.
9. Willing to work longer hours as needed seasonally.
10. Ability to take initiative, problem solve and work independently.
11. Able to lead others.
12. Creative.
    

Responsibilities 

1. Work with the CTC Director to meet service levels by delivering quality programming to community residents not limited to:
   1. Class Scheduling
   2. Marketing
   3. Community relationship development
2. Participate in staff meetings, retreats and other events as outlined in SGM procedure manual.
3. Work with other Sunshine staff to accomplish the goals of the city staff team especially as relates to integrating use of technology with existing after school programs.
4. Provide class instruction as needed.
5. Manage receipt of class & internet café fees.
6. Maintain the hardware and software configurations for the CTC as well as inventory.
7. Assist new and recurring users on basic tasks in the Internet Café as needed.
8. Monitor CTC goals for attendance and course participants.
9. Enforce CTC community access policies and standards.
10. Work with the city staff team to recruit, train and develop committed volunteers.
11. Ensure that records of all CTC participants are maintained.
12. Maintain clean and orderly work environment
