Program manager

 

LifeBridge Community of Indianapolis is seeking a professional, energetic individual for Program Director.  Responsibilities include oversight, supervision and program development of after-school and other programs designed and to support academic and spiritual growth for at-risk children and their families. The Program Manager partners with the Executive Director, volunteers, and others to analyze academic, spiritual and social needs for constituents and design curriculum plans for LifeBridge programs and works with volunteers to implement. Develops necessary program documentation, conducts volunteer training, and various workshops.  The Program Manager must have a compassionate heart for children and a desire to work with a large number of volunteers helping them discover and use their God given abilities for successful living. Position requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in education, urban ministries, non-profit management, volunteer management or related field with two-five years of professional work experience in program development, process improvement, volunteer management, or project management. This individual should possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, an extremely detail oriented focus, the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and the ability to successfully lead, manage and train a large staff of volunteers.  Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to hire.  This is a full time position.    Since LifeBridge is a faith based Christian organization it is essential the Program Manager have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and be actively engaged within a church congregation of the Christian faith.
