Parenting Instructor

Potential Part time (18 hours/week) Parenting Instructor needed for program at federal prison (minimum security serving female inmates), as follows:  Two 3 hour sessions per week plus children's center in visiting room where inmates can practice what they learned in the educational component, emphasizing the development of the parent/child bond through appropriate play and learning activities.  Weekday (educational sessions - 6 hours) and Saturday (visiting room - 6 hours) and Sunday (visiting room - 6 hours).  Additional hours during holidays may be required.  No benefits.  Curriculum and training provided.  Must have Bachelors degree in education and experience providing similar services, but not necessarily in a prison environment.  Submit resume to staff@bfsf.org or via fax to 570-523-0676.  Employment through contractor (Bethesda Family Services Foundation - see www.bfsf.org), NOT the federal government/prison.
