Orphanage HouseParent/Activity Director

Bread of Life Orphanage, located in Brosteni, Romania is accepting applications for short and long term volunteers.  The specific positions that we would like to fill are for Administrative Assistants, House Parents, and Activity Directors. 

REQUIREMENTS: This is a Christian orphanage where a "call" from God is more important than a diploma in qualifying a candidate for a position.  We encourage applicants to contact us if they have a desire to be used in a mission environment, rescuing children from the streets and from abandonment.  Qualifications should include: humility, sincerity, patience, persevering love, an ability to work as a team member, and a dedication to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  Additional skills that are helpful are: office and administrative abilities, kitchen and dietary planning, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, youth ministry, music skills, arts and crafts, and educational tutoring.

BENEFITS: Applicants will be provided with a private room with bathroom and shower.  Food provided is same as children are served.  Beyond this, we will help applicant to raise home-support for the length of time that they plan to volunteer at our orphanage.  Approximate monthly amount needed for personal expenses and travel is between $500-$800, depending on personal comfort needs.
