Missional Ministry Director

Montgomery Community Church is searching for the ideal candidate to fill the position of Missional Director. This is a full time position with benefits. The Missional Director will assertively lead individual members and the congregation of MCC into a lifestyle of missional living. The goal will be to develop and expand opportunities to fulfill the Great Commissions in meaningful, tangible and evangelistic ways by ensuring the establishment and operation of a comprehensive variety of local, national, and global missional initiatives. The position is responsible for recruiting, training, equipping, and coordinating a group of servant leaders to teach, facilitate, support, and operate each misssional ministry. The Missioanl Director will facilitate and /or participate in missional initiatives as needed and will be a pastoral, spiritual, and biblical leader in MCC’s missional environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in education, ministry or related field. Knowledge of community development, evangelism skills, and at least three years experience in missional ministries is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to strategically choose and implement appropriate programming to achieve the missional vision of MCC. A Masters of Divinity degree is preferred.
