Inner City Children/Youth Progamming Internship (Summer)

Hartford City Mission (HCM) is looking for young adults who have a passion to serve God, children, and youth in a marginalized neighborhood in Hartford, Connecticut for the summer of 2012. Summer interns will have the privilege of living and working in the north end of Hartford while also examining God’s Word on issues such as poverty, racism, and social justice. Interns will work with Camp Noah and YoungLife (see job description) but will also engage in evening activities that will encourage and challenge spiritual, personal, and community growth and an understanding of God’s work among and concern for the marginalized of our society.
