Grants Manager
Description:
Coordinates with the Development Director for the oversight and/or coordination of funding particularly from private and public institutions for units within the command; oversees and coordinates all requests for private foundation and public funding appropriate to The Salvation Army, seeking out new funding opportunities for Army programs around the command; works directly with the Development Director and team to develop comprehensive development plans that include the cultivation of human resources, annual funds and community support in order to position The Salvation Army in the community.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field, and a minimum of five years progressively responsible experience demonstrating a record of accomplishment in grant writing with a knowledge of city, state and federal structure and funding requirements or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
