Emmanuel House Internship

 Looking for a deeper relationship with Christ? Tired of just going to church? Maybe you are looking for a way to make an impact on the world around you? Jesus wants His disciples to not just be listeners to the Word, but to be doers of the Word. Cincinnati Urban Promise in Cincinnati, OH has an opportunity for up to four young people to live in community together and work with our ministry to make disciples in our neighborhood. The Emmanuel House internship is a way to live out your faith as we mentor young people through our Say YES youth mentoring program, teen work projects and gang intervention, empowering new disciples to find that they have gifts and can work to provide for their families, working to feed the hungry through meals in the park and the neighborhood food pantry, and building on existing ministry to reach more lives for God’s Kingdom and to bring change in our city through Christ. 

The Emmanuel House Internship has 3 possible concentrations: Pastoral Ministry, Youth Ministry and Empowerment Ministry (a focus on compassion and service) . An intern would spend one year in community living with up to three other interns and participate in ministry, being loving neighbors in our low- income neighborhood, and helping to develop ministries for the future. An intern would raise their own expenses and would be dedicated for the year of training and service and community.
