Director of Music

Bethany, a Community Church is seeking a spiritually committed, energetic and motivated individual to direct the church music program and musically lead Worship. The successful candidate will display a passion for Jesus Christ, a love for all people and the ability to develop a Praise Team/Band/choir(s). The successful candidate will direct and oversee all music for the church and provide guidance to the Youth Music Ministry and Youth Worship Leader and will also work closely with the Pastor and Board of Elders. Other responsibilities include: recruiting and training adult volunteers to use the musical gifts and grow the church's music ministry and provide music for all special services throughout the year and on Sundays. Strong organ with knowledge of foot pedals, keyboard and piano skills are required. Currently this is a part-time position. This is a non-exempt (hourly) position.
