Core Staff Member

Put your faith into practice serving our brothers and sisters who are poor. André House is looking for individuals to join our Core Staff. You must be willing to live in community, follow a simple lifestyle and make decisions collaboratively.  A one-year commitment (August 1^st – July 31^st)  renewable for an additional year. Part of the application process is to spend one week with us engaged in the ministry.

André House is a House of Hospitality which blends the traditions of the Catholic Worker Movement and the Congregation of Holy Cross.   It is a transitional shelter/soup kitchen in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It is run by a Core Community of seven to nine people, religious and lay, who live, work, and pray together. Everyone in the community does the same work, as we rotate the many different responsibilities during the week.
