children's Ministry intern

Immediate and Exciting Opportunity to work in a dynamic atmosphere with children of the inner-city.

We presently have one opening for an intern that would be prepared to make a three month commitment (March - May). You are also welcome to apply for our next semester that will begin in August.

Walking Faith Ministry is an inner-city ministry that focuses on ministering to the children and families of Houston's most defavorized neighborhoods. This is done primarily through indoor and outdoor Sunday School meetings where children are loved, enjoy fun in the LORD and are taught the Word of God. Families and children also receive weekly visitations from the ministry's staff, interns and volunteers. WFM also has monthly youth meetings.

Our internships run in both the spring and fall terms. Interns are trained in ministering to children and families of the inner-city and then are joined to a team of missionaries that go out 5 days a week.

Our internship program is a time for growth, development, challenge and service. It is a wonderful opportunity for young people or older who sense a call to minister to the hurting.

Qualifications: must be a team-player, must desire to learn and grow, must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED.
