Become an AmeriCorps member

with Emerald Youth Foundation (EYF)

 

Ø      Assist youth in the areas of academic reinforcement, tutoring, sports, nutrition, fitness, or serve with the volunteer program

Ø      Serve part-time (Aug. – Dec., Aug. – May or Aug. – July)

Ø      Average approx. 4 hrs/week – 20 hrs/week (# of hrs/week depends on the area you serve with)

Ø      Receive a living allowance (ranging from $2,012 to $6,035)

Ø      Obtain an Education Award of $1,000 up to $2,362.50 at the end of your service, which you can use to pay off student loans or go back to school

Ø      Participate in training

Ø      Network and serve with other AmeriCorps members

 

 

Positions start early August!

 

 

 (You have to be at least 18 years of age.

Some positions require a minimum age of 21 for driving purposes.)
