After School Instructor

Citichurch exists to positively impact the city of Miami by providing educational and spiritual opportunities, strengthening families and linking residents together in a supportive neighborhood. Since its establishment in 2004 and under the leadership of Tony and Dianna Rivera, CitiChurch has worked through collaborations and partnerships to implement and institute free services and programs that effectively serve the needs of children and families in our surrounding community. These programs and services include: an Out of School Program, CitiKidz, serving over 45 children in grades K-5 and a High School Culinary Arts Program, Higher Ground, serving over 30 students, both funded in part by The Children’s Trust, a Middle School Youth Program serving over 35 students, Club 180, funded in part by the Department of Juvenile Justice, a Community Learning Center which offers free language and computer classes for adults, Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Tutoring, and various outreach events such as an annual Health Fair and Carnival.

The After School Instructor will be required to lead and organize group activities in either P.E. or reading. He/she will work in a team of instructors who provide homework help, daily enrichment activities, snack, and other program activities.
