Activity Director

Description:

Residential camp for kids focuses on introducing kids to Christ while having fun and building meaningful relationships.  Each day of camp features activities such as nature walks, art projects, sports, games, canoeing, campfires, Bible studies, cabin conversations, skits, songs and more.

Responsibilities:

• To manage all activity areas (sports/games, art, praise, nature, etc.)
• To supervise, encourage and support activity area coordinators.
• To lead in the creation and maintenance of a positive atmosphere throughout camp.

Qualifications:

• Must have a desire to minister to counselors and kids in a camp setting consistent with the goals, values and philosophy of Riverwoods.
• Must have an acceptable level of spiritual, mental, social and emotional maturity.
• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Organizational abilities and creativity.
• Supervisory/mentoring experience.
• Good communication skills.
• High energy and outgoing personality
