Riverwoods is a community outreach ministry headquartered at a camp. During the school year full-time staff members go into local under-resourced communities with mentoring, after-school programs, youth nights, Bible studies and more. During the summer we bring youth from the communities to our 80-acre campus on the Fox River for a variety of camp programs and activities.

Salary varies by position, minimum salary is $2400 for 2 weeks of traning and 8 weeks of camp.

Seeking Director of Development to make an Impact for the Kingdom!

Riverwoods Christian Center is looking for a Development Director who wants to serve at-risk youth from low-income communities and make an impact for Christ's Kingdom!   Riverwoods is an outreach ministry serving children and families from public and subsidized housing communities in the Fox River Valley.  We work in partnership with local Church congregations to provide a variety of programs and services to these communities continuously throughout the year.  All of the programs and services are provided to the families at no-cost.

This is not a earthly paying position, it is for Ministers looking to be a part of a growing Christian Church. It is for those who God has called into the Ministry and is not sure of how to begin  in their walk. We are a teaching ministry, with a small congregation, out to fill people with the word of God and thereby filling Heaven. We are open and loving and will help all those who are willing to serve God. We currently have 2 Associate Ministers and 1 Youth Minister all being led and guided by the Holy Spirit and taught Spiritual Development by the Pastor, who also teaches how to prepare and write sermons and license those who have brought the word but (not limited to), Pastor teaches many classes and provovide opportunity to grow.
