The Grant Writer internship is a full time AmeriCorps*VISTA position which is responsible for writing grants, managing existing grants, and assisting with development work.

More specifically, the Grant Writer will do the following: writing grants to corporate foundations, private foundations and government funding sources; managing existing grants including tracking data, compiling evaluations and writing reports to existing funding sources; researching grant opportunities and developing lists of potential funding sources.

This City Vision College internship position will assist with the daily operations of a rescue mission. Duties may include assisting in the counseling of homeless individuals and those suffering from substance abuse, ensuring the safety of those inside the mission, assisting with food preparation and service, and assisting with the management and maintenance of the building facilities. A typical day of work for the Rescue Mission Worker involves working with the rescue mission staff to ensure that the mission's programs operate successfully and that those who the mission serves remain safe, warm, and well-fed.

• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or lawful permanent resident alien in US or have a valid student visa

The Boston Project Ministries [TBPM] is a faith-based service organization, mobilizing residents and volunteers in projects to help build and nurture strong communities. We are growing a network of neighborhood ministry houses to serve the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston year-round.

Description:
Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift prospects using moves management concepts and tools; identifies, cultivates, and manages the portfolio of existing donors, as well as developing portfolios of new prospective donors; performs donor file analysis, caseload and goal setting, packing of program offering and opportunities; prepares or oversees the preparation of solicitation materials as needed for individual, corporate, and/or foundation prospects; accompanies Advisory Board members, volunteers, Area Commander, and Development Director as needed in support of visits with prospects for the command; updates and maintains contact reports on a timely basis.

Coordinates with the Development Director for the oversight and/or coordination of funding particularly from private and public institutions for units within the command; oversees and coordinates all requests for private foundation and public funding appropriate to The Salvation Army, seeking out new funding opportunities for Army programs around the command; works directly with the Development Director and team to develop comprehensive development plans that include the cultivation of human resources, annual funds and community support in order to position The Salvation Army in the community.

The ministry of God...uncomplicated is seeking a grant writer to help us reach students from coast to coast for Christ. We also have an emphasis for reaching more students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Our needs: Most of the funding needed is to go toward placing thought-provoking Christian advertisements in campus newspapers, social media, etc.) to prick the hearts of students and point them to our website. Note: sample ads may be viewed on our website. 2010 Projected budget needed: $45K+ Funding is needed to launch a Christian Speaker's Bureau. Our goal is to partner with existing campus ministries to facilitate bringing in well-known Christian's on campus who are led to minister to this demographic (i.e. Tony Dungy, David Robinson, Tim Tebow, etc.). 2010 Projected budget: $25K We also need funding to update our current website. The Gu website serves as the cornerstone in reaching students. It has to be current and relevant. 2010 Projected budget: $8-10K Gu anticipates the need to bring on 2-3 full and or part-time staff to assist with administrative and graphic design needs once our budget allows. The ideal grant writer will be one who uses their skills in communicating the needs of this ministry to various foundations, individuals, and other sources to help raise funding to enable us to reach our budget goals. GU has a lot of material already printed and can make available. Gu is a 501(c)3 and is registered with the State of Utah Division of Commerce Department of Consumer Protection. Unfortunately, being in Utah, there is limited local financial support for Christian ministries. However, we trust in a mighty God. Please contact us if you feel led to help support this cause. Seeking Director of Development to make an Impact for the Kingdom!

Riverwoods Christian Center is looking for a Development Director who wants to serve at-risk youth from low-income communities and make an impact for Christ's Kingdom!   Riverwoods is an outreach ministry serving children and families from public and subsidized housing communities in the Fox River Valley.  We work in partnership with local Church congregations to provide a variety of programs and services to these communities continuously throughout the year.  All of the programs and services are provided to the families at no-cost.

Designs for Living is an exciting ministry that  uses interior design as a bridge to reach people for Christ. We do this through speaking events, radio, TV and books. We are looking for a dedicated Christian woman who is comfortable sharing with women of all ages and encouraging them in their homes, families and walk with God. She should have a joyful personality and be able to travel with the executive director and assist her in the responsibilities of the ministry.
