Title:  The Salvation Army Eva Booth House Director

Salary Range:  $35,000 - $45,000

Description:  The Director will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Eva Booth House operate efficiently.  The Eva Booth House is a comprehensive continuum of care for women including an emergency shelter and a licensed substance abuse treatment program.  This person must have a desire to become a partner in ministry and to help women maintain sobriety and independent living.  She will be responsible for oversight of the facility, clinical supervision of certified staff, and a case load of clients.

Designs for Living is an exciting ministry that  uses interior design as a bridge to reach people for Christ. We do this through speaking events, radio, TV and books. We are looking for a dedicated Christian woman who is comfortable sharing with women of all ages and encouraging them in their homes, families and walk with God. She should have a joyful personality and be able to travel with the executive director and assist her in the responsibilities of the ministry.

 For those who feel called toward cross-cultural ministry, I can offer a variety of volunteer/intern positions which will, in some way or another, facilitate our program which brings together students from various campus ministries and college-age refugees and immigrants for a mentoring and friendship program. We are offering (unpaid) internships in (1)campus outreach (identifying interested college student participants on campus), (2)refugee/immigrant community liaison (signing up refugees and immigrants to come on our camping retreats and finding out needs in the various communities), (3)grant writing and missions funding (perfect for journalism/writing majors), (4)website development, and (5)social events/activities planning.
