This City Vision College internship position will assist with the daily operations of a rescue mission. Duties may include assisting in the counseling of homeless individuals and those suffering from substance abuse, ensuring the safety of those inside the mission, assisting with food preparation and service, and assisting with the management and maintenance of the building facilities. Title:  The Salvation Army Eva Booth House Director

Salary Range:  $35,000 - $45,000

Description:  The Director will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Eva Booth House operate efficiently.  The Eva Booth House is a comprehensive continuum of care for women including an emergency shelter and a licensed substance abuse treatment program.  This person must have a desire to become a partner in ministry and to help women maintain sobriety and independent living.  She will be responsible for oversight of the facility, clinical supervision of certified staff, and a case load of clients.

Title:  The Salvation Army Renewal Counselor

Salary Range:  $26,000 - $28,000

Description:  The Renewal Counselor will address the needs of individual clients and contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the Renewal Program - The Salvation Army's substance abuse treatment program that allows women to address the life-controlling problems that have hindered their success. 

Requirements:  Must have a high school diploma or GED; strong communication and organizational skills; willing to learn; flexible; non-judgmental about those we serve; and computer literate.  In addition, this person must be a certified substance abuse counselor (LADC or CADAC) and have 1 year of supervised counseling experience.

Seasoned housing counselor who is certified in comprehensive counseling, default and delinquency, and reverse mortgage (or is willing to become certified within 6 months of hire). Counselor must have a minimum of three years experience in comprehensive housing counseling. Requires a working knowledge of Pennsylvania laws and relevant programs. Must be detail oriented and deadline driven. Must be willing to work in a very fast-paced environment. Advanced degree and knowledge of the Philadelphia Diversion process a plus.  We are looking for any person or persons who are wholly dedicated to God and doing His work. We travel around New England and New York serving and ministering to Christian Schools. Are goal is to raise up an Army of believers NOT an Audience. This is a Full-Time Missionary position and you must feel called to join this ministry.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the Bible, Strong Christian Walk, Works well with youth, able to follow directions clearly.

Benefits:

This is a full-time ministry position and is unpaid. Each applicant MUST be willing and able to raise their own support. There is a $300 rent each month, which covers food, laundry, internet, ect.
