This is a guide to discovering and mobilizing the capacities of individuals living in your community. Completing the activities explained in this guide will help you understand what contributions individuals are making, and could potentially make, in terms of participating in and helping to build the local economy. The guide is based on the collective experience of several community groups as they independently went through the process of trying to understand how local people could share their individual gifts with other members of the community. It shows how a community can identify and mobilize individual skills, abilities, and experiences toward local economic development.
