CitySoft Donation Program (In-Kind Donation)

CitySoft Restrictions:
- One Community Enterprise donation may be requested per organization.
- Donated product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
- This donation is available to U.S. nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to Canadian Registered Charities with a Confirmation of Registration letter from the Canada Revenue Agency.
- This software is available to non-501(c)(3) public libraries and Canadian public libraries. U.S. public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) database. Canadian public libraries must appear on a list collected for us by the Public Library Services Branch, Ministry of Education, in British Columbia.
- This software is available to educational institutions, including K – 12 schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools.
- Only organizations with annual operating budgets of $500,000 USD or less are eligible to receive this donation.
- Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
- CitySoft products may not be transferred or resold.
To be eligible, your organization must be registered on TechSoup.org and meet the requirements of the CitySoft Donation Program (See the Restrictions Section).
CitySoft Donation Program
CitySoft has teamed with TechSoup Stock to make its Community Enterprise product available to U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofits and Canadian registered charities with budgets of $500,000 or less. Community Enterprise is easy-to-use, modular, Web-based software that empowers social sector organizations to better manage their constituent relationships (CRM), content (CMS), and other related activities. Community Enterprise includes more than 20 distinct modules.

Product Offered:
Content- and constituent-relationship-management software (electronic delivery only).
There is an Administrative Fee of $200.00 USD for the Community Enterprise software.
Dell All-In-One Printers

All applicants must complete the Dell program application and send it to the appropriate Gifts In Kind® Distribution Center. All organizations are served on a first-come, first-served basis, by each Gifts In Kind Distribution Center.
Donated equipment is three-in-one recycled printers which provide printing, copying and scanning capabilities in black/white and color. The equipment will be donated in “as is” condition. Shipments will also include one brand new color and black cartridge, cable and CD with printer driver, for the printer type received. The program will include several models. While Gifts In Kind International cannot guarantee the exact model type or assortment a recipient may receive, here are the models included in the program:
- Dell All-In-One A920 Printer Equipment solution for small business users. It offers printing, scanning and photocopying. Your computer must be connected to the A920 printer to be able to make copies, scan or print.
- Dell All-In-One Printer A940 Equipment solution for small business users. It offers high-resolution printing, high-performance scanning, Stand-alone photocopying color copying and fax capabilities. In order to use the fax capabilities, this printer requires connection to a computer with fax modem.
- Dell All-In-One A960 Printer Equipment solution for small business owners. Automatic Document Feeder enables unattended multi-page faxing, scanning and photocopying. Built in modem allows fast standalone faxing in black or color.
- Dell All-In-One A922 Printer Equipment solution for small business owners offering color printing, scanning and photocopying and produces great photographs.
Dell will assist nonprofit organizations in the areas of education (improving K-12 and adult literacy), job training (increasing access to education and technology and opportunities for young people, physically disabled and financially disadvantaged) and other vital community services. Organizations with 501(c)(3) status, registered with Revenue Canada, Indian Reservations, and Title I Schools providing services in those categories can qualify to receive contributions.
There are no administrative fees to receive the printers!
BEA Systems Donation Program (In-Kind Donation)

BEA Restrictions:
- Donated product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
- Orders may consist of up to two different BEA products and up to four CPU licenses in total. A total of up to four BEA licenses may be requested over the life of the program.
- This donation is available only to U.S. nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation, or Canadian Registered Charities with a Confirmation of Registration letter from the Canada Revenue Agency.
- As of February 7, 2007, this donation is available only to organizations in 16 states (California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington) and four provinces (Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec).
- Donations to religious organizations must be designated to a community outreach program that is separate from the religious organization and provides needed social services to the community at large on a nondiscriminatory basis (e.g. a homeless shelter operated by Catholic Charities).
- Does not have the nomination or election of candidates to political office as an explicit purpose.

BEA Systems is pleased to partner with TechSoup Stock to offer donated software products to the nonprofit community. BEA Foundation supports product donations to organizations who provide ongoing services or programs that encourage early intellectual development of pre-school-age children that achieve one of the following outcomes: School readiness by age five, increased availability and quality of early care or safe and supportive communities, where children have access to adequate food, shelter, and basic services and are free from crime and violence. Donations are also made to organizations that engage an underserved community or population by providing specific programs or services that otherwise improve the quality of life.
The titles listed below are available to the nonprofit community. BEA Systems does not offer products other than the following titles:
- WebLogic Server (Java-Based Application/Web Server)
- WebLogic Portal (Portal Server)
- WebLogic Platform (Application Platform)
- WebLogic Integration (Systems Integration Server)
Through TechSoup Stock, qualified organizations may order up to four CPU licenses over two product titles.
BEA product donations are available to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations in the United States and Canada. Note that as of February 7, 2007, BEA has adjusted its program restrictions in order to more accurately reflect its philanthropic focus areas.
Technical support for BEA product is free for the first year. On the anniversary of your initial purchase, technical support or maintenance renewal fees are $300 per CPU license. This fee will be billed by and payable to BEA Systems each year following your initial purchase. Should customers decide not to purchase maintenance after the first year, they will not be entitled to BEA technical support until back maintenance fees (if applicable) and current maintenance fees are current.

Depending on the BEA Systems product selected, there is an Administrative Fee that ranges from $110.00 to $345.00.
