BEA Systems is pleased to partner with TechSoup Stock to offer donated software products to the nonprofit community. BEA Foundation supports product donations to organizations who provide ongoing services or programs that encourage early intellectual development of pre-school-age children that achieve one of the following outcomes: School readiness by age five, increased availability and quality of early care or safe and supportive communities, where children have access to adequate food, shelter, and basic services and are free from crime and violence. Donations are also made to organizations that engage an underserved community or population by providing specific programs or services that otherwise improve the quality of life.
The titles listed below are available to the nonprofit community. BEA Systems does not offer products other than the following titles:
- WebLogic Server (Java-Based Application/Web Server)
- WebLogic Portal (Portal Server)
- WebLogic Platform (Application Platform)
- WebLogic Integration (Systems Integration Server)
Through TechSoup Stock, qualified organizations may order up to four CPU licenses over two product titles.
BEA product donations are available to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations in the United States and Canada. Note that as of February 7, 2007, BEA has adjusted its program restrictions in order to more accurately reflect its philanthropic focus areas.
Technical support for BEA product is free for the first year. On the anniversary of your initial purchase, technical support or maintenance renewal fees are $300 per CPU license. This fee will be billed by and payable to BEA Systems each year following your initial purchase. Should customers decide not to purchase maintenance after the first year, they will not be entitled to BEA technical support until back maintenance fees (if applicable) and current maintenance fees are current.
For more details on BEA's philanthropic focus areas and to determine if your organization meets BEA's donation criteria, see the BEA Restrictions.
Depending on the BEA Systems product selected, there is an Administrative Fee that ranges from $110.00 to $345.00.
