Geographic Focus Limitations: 

Appears to allocate funding to organizations based in the Southern Region of Alabama.

Funding Limitations: 

Foundation will allocate funding to non-profit, South Alabama based organizations located in the following counties:  Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke, Conecuh, Washington, Choctaw, Escambia, and Monroe.  

Geographic Focus Limitations: 

The Ted and Roberta Mann Foundation of Minnesota awards gifts principally to organizations in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.

Funding Limitations: 

The Ted and Roberta Mann Foundation of Minnesota does not give financial gifts to individuals or to causes that are for political or capital gain.

The Ted and Roberta Mann Foundation of Minnesota is focused on organizations that serve to improve the community through religion, art, education, health and other social services.

 

Prizker Foundation (grants)

J. Bulow Campbell Foundation (Grant)

Geographic Focus Limitations: 

The J. Bulow Campbell Foundation focuses their giving to organization in Georgia but does occasionally award grants in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and North and South Carolinas.

Funding Limitations: 

The J. Bulow Campbell Foundation does not award grants to support local church congragations, or to individuals. No support for local church congregations.

The J. Bulow Campbell Foundation is interested in organizations, including those with religious affiliations, focused on the youth, education, art and family services.

 

Thomas H. Maren Foundation (Grant)

Geographic Focus Limitations: 

The Thomas H. Maren Foundation awards grants nationwide, with a focus on Arizona, Flodia, Maine and Rhode Island.

 

Funding Limitations: 

The Thomas H. Maren Foundation does not award grants to individuals.

Areas of Interest Description: 

The Thomas H. Maren Foundation is interested in Catholic and Protestant organizations that emphasize education (especially biology and other lab sciences), heath, art and youth services.

 

The Cannon Foundation (Grant)

Geographic Focus Limitations: 

Funds the Cabarrus County, North Carolina area.

Funding Limitations: 

The Foundation will not fund to individuals, nor to endowment funds, nor will they offer funding for loaning purposes, scholarships, or fellowships.

The Foundation will not fund multi-year pledges.

The Foundation requires one year between proposals from all applicants--whether the request was approved or denied.

The Foundation will not create frequent grants to the same organization unless their request for funding is extremely different from their previous requests.

The Foundation requires that the organization show reliable evidence that the project can be sustained financially--on a continual basis.
