TechMission's BostonMarathonSamaritans.org was featured in a Religion Today news story yesterday. Andrew Sears, TechMission's Executive Director, was quoted as saying, "In the morning I cried again as I was reminded of the parable of the Good Samaritan helping someone who had been beaten up and left for dead, and I thought, 'That is what Christians should be doing right now. So, within a few hours, we had a website up and partnerships with church networks across Boston to help the victims."

TechMission has launched a new site, HurricaneSandyVolunteer.org, in response to Hurricane Sandy's projected devastation on the East Coast. The site, based on ChristianVolunteering.org, allows organizations, churches, and individuals to post their needs, and for people to find needs in their local area to which they can respond.
