We'll examine how to best prepare and equip these emerging leaders for the kind of service that leads both to the transformation of the community and of their own lives, without unwittingly bringing harm.

CCDA 2006 Conference hosts Nes Espinosa at their Bagged Lunch & A Drop of Oil: Multiplying Resources for Urban Ministry workshop.

"Community Organizing" is part of the Communities First tools designed by the Christian Reform World Relief Committee Church and Community Consultants to help Christians mature in knowledge and practice of God's mandates. The workshop answers the question, "How does a church organize its neighbors to work toward their common goals?"

Effective organizational stewardship requires an organization to maximize its resources and position the organization for high performance and service delivery. In this workshop, participants will explore seven characteristics of a successful faith-based organization. Participants will also explore the fundamentals of conducting on organizational assessment.

This workshop is designed to show participants how CRM can be used to establish and maintain long-term successful relations with potential partners. After attending this workshop participants will be able to determine if Cause Related Marketing (CRM) is appropriate for their organizational and how to develop successful CRM strategies and find the right partner.

The leadership role of the board of directors in a faith-based nonprofit is a crucial component to ensure organizational health and vitality. This workshop will explore the vital leadership role of the board, and engage the participants according to their organization's needs and stages of board development.
