Brenda Salter McNeil: In It to Win It: Christianity Today
Brenda Salter McNeil on the importance of commitment in ministry. Many times churches or para-church organizations start a ministry because the issue is in the news, or even because it appears trendy. However, a non-committed or "unconvinced" ministry may foster resentment and may ultimately cause more harm than good. If a ministry is going to last for the long haul, it must have its foundation in sympathy with the heart of God.
