Summary:
Disciple Nations Alliance (DNA) began in 1997 as an alliance between the Harvest Foundation and Food for the Hungry. It is based upon the principle that the healing that comes about as the result of Jesus’ shed blood is not only for individuals, but also for communities and entire nations. Through its teaching and resources, it seeks to equip churches with a biblical worldview and enable them to practice a wholistic, incarnational ministry affecting all aspects of society.
Why does FASTEN recommend this resource?
DNA provides practical help for churches seeking to engage in wholistic, transformational ministry in their communities. Its resource center provides books and videos designed to equip churches to advance God’s Kingdom by transforming the culture. In addition, five-day DNA Vision Conferences designed for pastors and other Christian leaders provide a biblical vision and practical tools. A free online course allows individuals to work through the core materials of the Disciple Nations Alliance at their own pace.
