For God so loved the world, not loved the people in church, but loved the world and so that he gave his only Son, and that's what we are called to do, too. To love this world that God gave us

And when Jesus brings shalom, which is the restoration of the whole creation, that's real peace. That only comes from a relationship with God, and a relationship with each other.

I think that the phrase that I hear when someone is grateful for support is that, "You were there for me, not that you gave me this, or you did this for me, you were THERE for me" and that's the definition of God for us.

New Creation [Church] is bringing people of different backgrounds, different languages, different life experiences, different countries, and we're all together, not because of who we are really, but because of who God is in us.

We try to bring the church out in the community, by planting gardens, by painting murals over once what was graffiti, and, by cleaning up the neighborhood, by working with the neighbors to demand better services from the city, and particularly by being a place for children and families with children which is so needed here.

Community ministry brings you energy. Serving people brings you life, too. Sure there's gonna be mistakes and you're gonna fall, but you're also gonna be uplifted, and it's a lot of fun.
