Submitted by nathangm19 on Sat, 09/20/2008 - 03:18.As we took a moment earlier this month to reflect on the tragic day that befell us on September 11th of 2001, I was reading and looking at photos displaying the outcry of compassion and love shown to the US immediately following that day that will forever be implanted in our minds. Among the host of images were purple mohawked hipsters aligned side by side with WWII veterans outside of the gates of the US Embassy in both Berlin and London, as well as shots of men and women crying in the streets of Israel.

Submitted by Amy on Thu, 08/28/2008 - 12:09.When a single ministry program creates a positive impact in a variety of ways on a diverse group of people, I get chills. Besides the fact that it is an economical use of resources, there's something aesthetically beautiful about the way these inspired programs work. It's like seeing the incalculable benefit of community before your eyes. That is the feeling I had when I learned about the African Children's Choir.

Since arriving in Vancouver in September 1984 their incredible journey has taken them around the globe where they have exhilarated audiences every where with their message of hope and healing. The performance, featuring 60 current and former members of the African Children’s Choir, unites today’s Choir children with young adults who were members of the very first Choirs in the mid-1980s.
