Wimmern I nicht sogar weiß, wo man anfängt, aber ich schätze, daß ich durch Sie zu erklären, beginnen könnte, daß ich wirklich die Stadt mag. Ich schätze manchmal, wann Sie erhalten, also beim Wunsch, zu anderen Teilen der Weltaußenseite der US zu gehen aufholten, Sie vergesse, wieviel Notwendigkeit dort in der Stadt ist.

Es war eine kühle, freie Montag Nacht in Philly. Wir erfaßten mit unserer Besuchsgruppe, Sugarloaf vereinigter Methodist, auf den kunst-Museum Jobsteps (liebevoll gekennzeichnet als die ‘felsigen’ Jobsteps). Sie sind eine Gruppe von ungefähr 50, die High School und Führer, die vollständig von Atlanta gereist sind, GA zum Serve mit CSM für die Woche underclassmen.

Heute wußte ich nicht wirklich, was ich tat, bis ich aufwachte (der eine nette Änderung des Schrittes ist). Wir beendeten gerade auszubilden und unsere Gruppen kommen nicht bis morgen abend herein. So riefen die Hauptrechner mich ab und mirWAREN ihnen erklärt im Begriff, am Strand heraus zu hängen heute nachmittag. Hängen Sie heraus am Strand und arbeiten Sie auf meiner Säurenummer? Warum nicht? Töne wie Spaß.

Alles geht gut hier in D.C. Freitag war unser letzter Tag des Trainings. Diese letzte Woche, besichtigten wir einige unserer Ministeriumsites und konzentrierten uns auf erlernenrichtungen hier in die Stadt. Ich glaube, daß ziemlich überzeugt mit den Richtungen... ich gerade betriebsbereit zu den Gruppen bin zu kommen zu beginnen, damit ich in Praxis die Sachen setzen kann, die ich erlernt habe.

Ich habe Aktualisierungsvorgänge von meinen Eltern erhalten, und sie tun gut. Meine Mamma reiste nach und von ChengDu sicher, und sie ist jetzt zurück in Shanghai.

When you think of homeless people, what are some of the things you think?

Everyone deserves respect, right?

For the heart to work among the poor, God this I ask.
For the courage to stand for what is right, God this I ask.
For the spirit to lead those who come, God this I ask.
For the perseverance to continue working when I am tired, God this I ask.
For the rest that I will lack, God this I ask.

Chicago is in the midst of a tough debate. It is looking to spend over $100 million in creating a Children's Museum on one hand, but on the other it continues to have over 10,000 homeless children.

Volunteering has become somewhat of a phenomenon these days. Of all the fads to come - we say hooray to helping others. Our prayer though is that it transforms from a fad (temporary, fleeting, based on emotions) to a lifestyle (permanent, passion-driven).

Christians in the US should close their churches and channel their energies into helping the poor. This is the message from the campaign 'Faith in Action', a resource developed by Christian humanitarian organization, World Vision, church communication resources provider, Outreach, Inc., and Christian communications company, Zondervan.

While 11% of the general population are veterans, a whopping 25% (every 1 in 4) of the homeless population in the United States are veterans!
