Summary:

This curriculum is written by Mark Oestreicher, the president of Youth Specialties, a national youth ministry organization.  The lessons are both fun and challenging and will appeal to most junior higher students, although they are not specifically geared to minority or urban youth.  Each lesson is divided into a fun kick-off activity, a Bible teaching, an application of the lesson to teenagers, and finally a personal application section that challenges each student to take the “dare.”  Some of the topics covered are: forgiveness, money, humility, faith, loving others, and peace.  This teacher’s lesson book is part of a Wild Truth Bible Lesson Series published by Zondervan that includes student journals to accompany the lessons.
