College Student Wears Burqa, Sees Discrimination Firsthand
Eastern Michigan University student Zoe Piliafas wanted to know how it felt to be a Muslim woman in America. For an entire semester, she wore a burqa, gaining a new perspective on discrimination and women's rights.
