Urban Ministry Internship Position Descriptions

TechMission Corps' AmeriCorps program offers one-year full-time paid internships serving in urban ministries in Boston, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles.

TechMission interns help urban ministry organizations use technology to help address injustice and develop at-risk communities. The following positions are available:

Urban Ministry Internship Program at City Vision

The City Vision Internship program combines an urban ministry internship with taking City Vision courses online.  The City Vision College approach places a great emphasis on "learning while doing" and requires various assigned tasks at approved training sites. 

Grant Writing Internship

AmeriCorps logoNow accepting resumes for one year internship through AmeriCorps with national Urban Ministry based in Boston.

Other positions include Volunteer Coordinator & Graphic Designer.

City Vision Internship Program Summary

The City Vision Internship Program provides full-time staff interns to urban ministries including, summer staff , six month interns and one year interns.  Interns can take unlimited courses from City Vision College while interning, and can get transfer transfer credit for qualifying schools.

City Vision College Provides:

  • College courses for Interns at Discount
  • Primary recruitment of Interns
  • Intern program structure and manual
  • College credit for Bachelors Degree or Transfer other colleges (up to 30 credit hours)

Ministry Site Provides:

Application for Subgrant to Receive a TechMission Corps Member

If your organization would like to apply to become a TechMission Corps Service Site and host a TechMission Corps Member, you may fill out a TMC Site Application. TechMission Corps receives grants to provide funding for full-time AmeriCorps members including a stipend of $11,400, health insurance and a $4,725 educational award.
