CT's state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal sent a letter today to Craigslist outlining "strong and specific" measures to fight prostitution and pornography on their website.
According the Attorney General, the ads posted on Craigslist for illegal prostitution and pornography were rampant, which he sited were reasons for the need to implement the new measures.
The new measures include eliminating photographs in the "erotic services" and similiar sections of the site, implementing technology that screens pornograhic images, hiring staff to screen ads that blatantly violate craigslist terms of service and offering financial incentives for anyone for correctly flags and reports prostitution advertisements on the site.
