The Street Team is a growing group of young
adults from the Community of East Palo Alto
who were formerly involved in violent and/or
drug related activities in our community and
have been healed. With the combination
of “street credibility” and the street soldier
methodology these young adults are
extremely effective. Their primary objective is
to build or nurture existing relationships with
the youth who are considered “non-program
youth.” These relationships become a voice
of reason, an option of peace and an avenue
of access to reengage life options.
