Prophetic Advocacy 101 focuses on how to draw strength from a Christian identity to do policy advocacy. Participants will gain an understanding of the biblical basis for advocacy, basic principles of advocacy, how to weave advocacy into congregational and organizational life, and how to build lasting relationships with elected officials.

An introduction for beginners in advocacy: Biblical and value core of why we as Christians advocate, and the mandate to advocate on behalf of the poor. Practical applications and opportunities with local and national issues.
