Summary:

African Americans Reach and Teach Health (AARTH) is an organization devoted to helping build the capacity of churches and other faith-based organizations serving people of African descent by providing health education, advocacy, and access.  AARTH believes that, among ethnic groups, African Americans are the most negatively impacted by preventable and treatable health conditions.  Alcohol and drug dependence are among the topics addressed by this site, which provides helpful articles, online health tests and links to other sites addressing alcoholism and drug abuse. 

This site is a very useful resource for churches and faith-based organizations interested in addressing alcoholism, drug abuse and other health issues in the African American community. One particularly helpful feature: the site provides links to short articles on a variety of health topics that churches may use as bulletin inserts.
